Crude as it is, hard to imagine Trump's 'ban Muslims' theme isn't gaining more traction.

and funnier still - depite the best and increasingly desperate efforts of the now glaringly OBVIOUS bias shown by the LAMERSTREAM + BOUGHT-OFF MEDIA it would appear that they're losing control of their message and BS narratives (at this rate, the DNC, biden&co will be extending the stage hook and yankin her out)

Recent Gallup polling data paints a pretty dire picture for Hillary...

    exactly!
Sanders' speech was the polar opposite of Ted Cruz. He saved her bacon. After what the DNC did to him he owed them nothing, but he responded with grace. He owns her now, and possibly owns the Democrat party itself. They are scared to death that he will tell his supporters to walk. If Lady MacBeth falls before the election (and FWIW Wikileaks says she will) he will be the natural choice for her replacement.

I still say this is fun.
    +2 !
altho my take on bernie is that he's deluding himself and his followers.

    why?
he made a big deal out of their 'accomplishments' ?
and them + a-buck-3-80 will get ya a cup of coffee.

he SOLD OUT and will have NO EFFECT on hitlery's campaign

    but funny?
    you betcha!

Presented with no comment... (ahead of today's roll-call vote)
    and even funnier?

Hillary's communication director seemingly just admitted that they're frantically spinning the Russian hacking narrative to prepare the public for the next round of email leaks.

American politics has become the most ludicrus circus of corruption, propaganda and stagecraft. Yesterday was the first day in decades that "reality" smashed its way in, for a few hours at least. It was entertaining. Even more entertaining was watching the unbiased reporters and pundits from PBS falling all over themselves to praise every syllable of every speech. Quite a contrast to their commentary about the Republican convention. You might want me to sob and beat my chest but I prefer to laugh.

For we are surely witnessing the reanimating of democracy in the United States after a long coma.

It's merely a metaphor now, but the spirit of resistance is what you saw yesterday in Philadelphia and is what will drive this until November.
Yes, it is true we can look at this from another viewpoint; but the US is not the only nation so confounded by the disrespectful nature of modern politics and there are others constantly arguing for violent action. My deep fear is that if violence becomes the norm; then we do not have a map of the road ahead. One slip and the "game" could get to be very difficult to bring to a halt. Pandora's Box comes to mind.

the people can not be all, & always, well informed. the part which is wrong [. . .] will be discontented in proportion to the importance of the facts they misconceive. if they remain quiet under such misconceptions it is a lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty.

we have had 13. states independant 11. years. there has been one rebellion. that comes to one rebellion in a century & a half for each state. what country before ever existed a century & half without a rebellion? & what country can preserve it’s liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance?

let them take arms. the remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon & pacify them. what signify a few lives lost in a century or two? the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants. it is it’s natural manure."

Thomas Jefferson. Paris, Nov. 13, 1787.

Is it at all possible that Sanders is playing a hand where his cards show that he has already decided that HRC will be forced to step down at some point between now and November? In which case he has to bring the two sides; his own supporters and hers towards accepting his candidacy. Yes, a risky strategy; but without these moves, he will always remain unacceptable to her supporters. This way, he takes a temporary dip from his own supporters; but gains as showing himself as a friend to hers.
