I have no problem debating the aipac I would have no problem debating Israeli foreign policy
I do have a problem with putting a star if david on a jewish senator. I think it demeans the debate. I post here because I thought it was a place to debate things in an intelligent fashion not insulting propaganda. If I wanted that I could have gone to any number of other sites I find undesirable who post anti semetic and anti american propaganda. It is one of these sites no doubt that Don got the picture from. By the way I am not even jewish and I find it insulting. So I chose not to post here or pay money to a site that condones this anymore.

flipped42, that photo does not represent iTulip, and it would be a mistake to assume that the members here or the management condones the photo.

I, too, missed the stars. I was busy identifying those in the photo.

AC3, I was surprised to see these technically well-produced anti-Semitic photos. I usually associate this kind of prejudice with weak intelligence and low-life incompetence. It's good to be aware that this kind of negative stuff is out in the world. But perhaps it would be better to give a link to the artist's website than reproduce the actual photos here?

Boyz, boyz, (boychick to you, metalman ) can we get over the acknowledged miscue. Satirizing the financial oligarchy, in an instructive way, belongs on iTulip. I know, I know, it wasn't the author's intent- he's criticizing Israeli policy- I never would have posted that image if I had 'seen' those additions- but as a artistic blow to FIRE, it's pretty great (sans Star of David- whew!)

So I refuse to be associated with a site that is anyway spreading anti-semetic propaganda or any propaganda targeting any particular racial group. We have seen this movie before and must as a group remain vigilant to identify when the same logic an thinking perpetrate society again. If you have a problem with Isreal and you side with the palestinians fine but when you target a person due to race you start the long indocternation process into genocide. I do not think I am over reacting and I hope management takes appropriate action or they will get not my thougths or my money any more. This is not a freedom of speech issue. The artist has every right to their opinion I just choose not to associate myself with this type of dribble. My choice my vote. By the way Happy Hanukkah Fred please do the right thing.

I hope they take no action. I object to encouraging censure based not on the intentions of the speaker, but on the interpretation of those words (or images) by the listener (or viewer), even when that interpretation has good evidence. Hypothetical harm is insufficient reason for actual restrictions on speech.

Using the Holocaust as justification for shutting down any expressions which some listener might view as critical of Jews is an attempt to justify a License in Politically Correct Tyranny.

It is quite reasonable, as you did, to call out to the original poster the alternative view of his original image and the evidence supporting the prejudiced views of the creator of that image. That was useful information to several of us here. And of course, you're free to come and go as you choose. But arming the authorities (Fred, in this case) with our consent and encouragement to impose a Politically Correct filter (not only what was meant, but also what might be interpreted) on postings is dangerous and unnecessary. I for one refuse by my silence to consent to such encouragement.

Criticism of Israel is perfectly acceptable on these forums, but Dees' material displays his racist beliefs through racist imagery, and not only antisemitic racist imagery but against other groups as well. The artist also displays an out-sized susceptibility to conspiracy theories.

There are plenty of sites on the Internet where one can go to see this kind of material. This isn't one of them.
