Actually, credibility is important. Alex Jones has very little credibility--he's a liar and a perpetuator of extraordinary (and sometimes dishonest) hyperbole. Any 'journalist' or 'reporter' that uses a source that has no credibility or very little credibility takes a hit to their own credibility.
