      Once BMW pulled out there was ZERO chance..........I must say BMW DID invest in MINI & its been a big suscess story.......Landrover/Jag now owned by Tara (India) is doing well ish....

        I find it odd that the Rover team fell for these negotiating techniques, as these are well known asian mind games in business negotiation, especially with westerners. I actually don't buy this story's spin. Rather, it seems to me that it would be more feasible that the downfall of Rover was approved, and supplying an inept negotiating teams provides a convenient escape-goat.
