Look, Mega he acts like a hysterical bonehead because he IS a hysterical bonehead. After you have been burned two or three times you should learn not to touch the stove. Find guys that are consistently right and stick to them. This is not tricky. Do like I did five years ago: make a spread sheet with one column for each whack-ball nut on gold-eagle or financialsense and check their won/lost record over the course of a year or more. Keiser failed to "Crash JP Morgan" he is out. move on.

In a corrupt system making predictions is dicey stuff. Think about it. If there is no free market and no price discovery the best "investor" is aligned with those perceived to be the most corrupt and then who seem to be in most control. All you can really predict on a systematic level is system coherence or system chaos. What the results of systematic failure may be is by definition almost impossible to predict. Perhaps that is the greatest mistake made by Keiser et al. However, being human, we only listen to coherent narratives even when considering random events which is kind of absurd if you think about it. Anybody looking at the current world financial system smells greater chaos in the future. It is hard to imagine greater chaos is a good thing if your income is a derivative of reducing risk whether that is Social Security or a Hedge Fund.

I like the guy, but i had a falling out over "GW".....which i dared to say was a CO2 scam.......then i was cast out, thrown to the 4 winds. I think he has a problem like "Michael Jackson", Max i suspect was not allowed to rebel much as a kid.....i did. I got to meet the Sex pistols in 76 (Manchester trade hall gig) & even shared a Coke with Sid !

He did not, i like he now has some deep need to rebel NOW.........

His "Take out Coke" short sale thing was a non-starter......his "Buy Silver/Crash J P Morgan"...is still in play & he has been 100% on Gold from Day one. Overall i think he does a good job, sure there was that rather unfortante moment he jumped into Bed with Mish & Stabbed Schiffy in the back.........but we all have faults.

If you don't mind sharing, can you tell us how the scores went in your won/lost test?

            +1

Seems like very useful data, if you still have the spreadsheet.
