A fashionable growth stock that has lost its lustre, but is not by any means a value stock (price-to-earnings and price-to-book still expensive). A buy at this price is a bet that it will again become a fashionable growth stock in short order. Maybe.. maybe not.
How long will it take for nuclear to be sexy again after Fukushima?

it will take a while before the unlucky becomes lucky again. bad luck comes in threes, or fours.

this new year of the rabbit is not a lucky one with respect to natural disasters.

Once the plates are disturbed, it becomes unstable everywhere. another earthquake may hit Japan or North American coast and create another nuclear issue.

Surely nuclear is the future, but i'll rather wait and see.

Valuing resource stocks on traditional metrics never works. The asset quality is what is important - Cameco has the quality of asset that others do not. I think it is getting close to time to buy it - been waiting to see how serious the Japanese situation gets.
