Likes of CCJ? The price/earning ratios of uranium miners are still multiples of oil and some other mining companies.

CCJ doesn't do it for me. I owned it years ago but when they started having problems with flooding I sold and never looked back. How are they doing now with the flooding? I'm more addicted to trading the medium to small cap miners and juniors. Much greater volatility is more profitable but the timing is crucial.

Speaking of which, gold corrected slightly this past week and is already recovering. Hurry up and buy the dips of your favorite PM vehicles before we get back to new highs.

By the way Mike, nice call on buying on the 14th. You were maybe a little early but you were the catalyst to get the debate going and bring it to everyone's notice. Otherwise, we might have missed the low, as quickly as it happened.

I have just a few words for the eco-bunch, including those that I have been debating with here in my own neighbourhood here in East Sooke, British Columbia: Do you, the so-called "environmentalists", have any other alternative to feed and power the world, especially now with 7 billion people in it?

I am not interested in religion or faith or hope or scriptures. I am interested in feeding and powering the world with seven billion people in it, and that is the world now, to-day.

What is the answer that the eco-bunch, has? My new and "improved" solar lights still do not even light my walkway, even for one hour per night, and this is Vancouver Island on a date just one week before the Spring Equinox.

My answer to the eco-bunch is to get real: atomic energy, hydro-electric power from dams, natural gas and oil from drilling, and up-graded heavy oil are the solution to the world's energy needs...... If that means toes have to be stepped-on, or a flock of birds might have to relocate their nest, then so be it.
Someone being fooled by marketing & buying crap products does not invalidate an entire technology.

James Lovelock invented the gaia hypothesis. Check out his views on nuclear power: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_L...#Nuclear_power

edit: I just had a look on a map where you are in relation to the equator - you're almost as far away from where the sun is most powerful as the northern tip of Antartica! Even if your $20 for 4 crappy Chinese solar lights have 'improved' written on the box, you can't reasonably expect much. Get a proper 24 volt system with a couple of small panels & LEDs, it'll work fine.

Re: Get those Atomic stocks while they CHEAP!

I like James Lovelock! His Gaia hypothesis is supported by scientific evidence, including the evidence for low-levels of radiation being helpful to plants and animals, even people at Ramsar, Iran.

reference: the article "High Background Radiation Areas of Ramsar, Iran" by Dr. S.M. Javed Mortazavi, published in The Journal of Health Physics. Dr. Mortazavi is at Kyoto University of Education, Kyoto 612-8522, Japan.

The interesting findings of Dr. Mortazavi are also supported by the observations around Chernobyl where people eat mushrooms and berries, and root vegetables from the Chernobyl soil and are remaining healthy. Also, the flora and fauna around Chernobl are exhibiting no ill effect from the Chernobyl melt-down. The area around Chernobyl is being re-colonized by the native plants and animals, and perhaps benefiting by the radionuclides in the soil.

This is how real science is done, and this is how science differs from religion: In real science, the careful observations are not required to fit a prior model or past understandings, but prior models and past understandings must be changed to reckon with all careful and independent observations.

Any thoughts on Entergy? PE ratio only 10 and 5% div yield.
