I wasn't, though that was not obvious from my cryptic reply.

I had in mind to blame the people and system which deprived her of two clues to rub together, and whats worse, sucked from her any passion to build a fire from lifes precious clues. It would seem that well before her employment at that mortgage company she has been deprived of intellectual, spiritual, or nutritional sustenance that fuels the passions of life. She seemed like a good and honest person, sucked nearly empty.

And if she had refused to perform her prescribed work duties she would have been replaced. Unfortunately there's a tendency to gang up on those least able to defend themselves. Too bad. The real rather sickening expose is the across the board corruption of her bosses. Ganging up on them I endorse... in full. Underlings? What's a girl gonna do?

I entirely agree.

Her clue deprivation condemns the depraved deprivors, not her the deprived.
