  • judge promised a commissioner to never rule for a complainant

This is making the rounds - I thin commenters have posted on Ritholds' blog & it's on Jesses'

I'm treating it 50-50 as geniuine or a prank/fraud; The 2 documents they link to are not kept on the CFTC site, and absent a good source I can't tell if they're genuine.

    http://www.futuresmag.com/News/2010/...s-biased-.aspx

the URL for the "notice and order" is
    http://www.futuresmag.com/SiteCollec...rder.DCpdf.pdf

Definitely NOT a court site or a CFTC site. Genuine? Who knows? an unexploded mine for Ted Butler to step over? Maybe

And why TH would a commissioner ask for that kind of thing? And why would a judge do it? Payoffs?

story's getting a little bigger, and the complaint looks genuine (not a hoax); seems that Painter did make the allegations

    Are they true?
    Will anything ever happen?

one thing did happen anyway - my cynicism has gotten worse.

When plain ole cynicism just will not do, the cynics turn professional. I don't know what that means, just sounds good.

don't know whether to laugh or cry.

When the little guy's getting it good & hard, have to follow procedure, come h*ck or high water.

Can't even be bothered to investigate the allegations, apparently ... as long as the $$$ end up in the "right" pockets, it's all good
