I don't like nationalism in any form, including resource nationalism. If Chevron has made the effort and risked the capital to develop a resource in the middle of no-where, and if Chevron has lived-up to its side of a contract with a sovereign nation, then Chevron and its share-holders deserve to profit from this risk-taking and effort.
And no, I do not hold even one share of Chevron Oil.
I don't like sovereign nations changing the rule of law, at will, just because they can do so. If that is how nations play the game, then I wouldn't commit one cent of money to developing a resource within their jurisdiction. Let them take the risk and make the effort, alone, and nothing would be produced for anyone.
