This is not an aberration or a fluke. It's a trend. It's also a symptom of a system that is cracking. The gold war is intensifying.

The current price of gold is irrelevant until it is made relevant, and in a big way.

I expect to see huge swings in the price of gold until it represents true wealth.

Does the new Islamic gold-dinar come with a free prayer-rug, just for the cost of shipping and handling? Or do we have to order two gold-dinars for the rug included, just for the S.&H. charge?

The real issue is whether Western World (or modern world) concepts of banking can be adapted to a gold standard, and adapted to a gold standard without the religious baggage included.
