Ron Paul is way too smart for that choice.

Ron Paul and Colin Powel might make sense.

I'm confident she can kill any presidential campaign. Besides I doubt RP would compromise his platform like that.

Too far fetched. It would be like Lieberman running as a Democratic party VP candidate. Impossible...beyond the pale

Colin Powell would be good .. maybe with Huckabee. They'd be an interesting ticket.

I don't get the love for Powell after things like his role in covering up stuff like My Lai

or telling fairy tales about Iraq at the UN

If he had come clean and admitted his duplicity in general, I would have been fine for him. By endorsing Obama, he has however made himself fully a tool of the plutocracy.

Palin routinely reveals she is nothing more than a stooge for her neocon handlers. Her attempts at co-opting traditionally conservative views have all been dismal failures.

                    she has no principles

So, there is absolutely no chance she will side with Paul on anything of substance.

Wouldn't we have to see Ron Paul and John McCain and others dressed in the same garments to make a fair comparison?

Texas Rep. Ron Paul proved once again Saturday that his politics continue to divide the Republican Party.
He was met with both disapproval and applause during the Southern Republican Leadership Conference for describing conservatives as hypocritical when they call for a return to Constitutional values while supporting foreign wars.
"The conservatives and the liberals, they both like to spend," Paul said, according to Think Progress. "Conservatives spend money on different things. They like embassies, and they like occupation. They like the empire. They like to be in 135 countries and 700 bases
