And yet, when real people (not professional protesters) take to the streets, many of the same people who call for people to take to the streets then deride those taking action because, well they're mostly white and some can't spell all that well, and they are probably crypto-racists who just don't like a black man being president.

So when people take to the streets against policies that you in favor of, they're dismissed as professionals. Can I get a "union thug"?

But when people take to the streets against policies that you disagree with, they are recognized as real people and we're supposed to ignore that the headline speaker at their events is Republican VP candidate on the Maverick ticket that publicly backed the Wall Street bailouts (but conveniently only before she didn't win the election) and the funding of the movement by Dick Armey's PAC and the marketing of the movement by the FoxPublican News network.



Those numbers paint quite a picture, but not one of a movement independent from the Republican leadership.

Ron Paul winning the CPAC straw poll and tieing Romney at the SRLC poll is not a sign that the Republican party is moving towards Ron Paul.

It's a sign that Ron Paul's small movement is still alive and trying to make noise despite being hijacked and drowned out by the Fox - Tea - Party - Glenn Beck - 9/12 project - Palin Publicans.
