About 30 miles away is this GM plant.
Vauxhall like German sister Opel is owned by GM & they been churning out crappy little cars for years. Almost everyone of them is sold to the Lease hire market....or massive price cut off list. GM themselves admit 85% go to "Fleet buyers"..........i personaly have NEVER known anyone to buy a new Vauxhall....
GM is losing a shed full of cash in their Euro operations, now its rying to reset its operations.....Frankly i think they just lose more money, but it looks like a "Plan" is afoot here. Vince Cable has said the goverment will "help" GM with a number of measures including ensuring that Britan has a VERY "competaive" exchange rate with Europe..........seeing how the Euro is falling V the £ i think they intend to do what Jim Rickards sez....Kill their currancy to boost bussiness...
