Since the end of WW2, the West has had its cake & eaten it...many times over. It has devilered ever higher living standards year on year, not bad for nations whom attacked their own means of production. They could afford to do so, Russia (USSR) China & India were backward looking Commie nations with very little eco might, most Asia was dirt poor or under Commie control (Same thing).
The Rest of the World was under Western control, again dirt poor subject to IMF raids or given FREE Aids virus shots to wipe out their popluations. Meantime the West could embark on a happy hippy Neo-Lib eco trip. The Gold standard was quickly dropped, Gold proved to be something of a "incovenience" because it proved their "james maynard keynes" plans were just ponzi bulsh!t.
Everything was going swimmingly, till oneday (2008) they went bust. Having spent the last 3-4 years in "De-nile" the sad truth has now hit them. The "Bills" they thought they would NEVER have to pay have just dropped though the letter box.
Now, they MUST turn to face the Public...........
