Default GOP Health Care Bill - Pre-empt Fox News talking points?

GOP set to release a health care bill so I will attempt to speculate on the Fox News campaign / talking points that are about to erupt on us:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2009...ropose-health/

1. Our bill is 1,000 pages shorter so it must cost less. Just like the 1 page bank bailout bill we provided to Paulson.

2. De-regulate the costly FDA approval process so big pharma can bring the "innovative" drugs America needs to market much faster.

3. De-regulate health insurance and allow banks and fast food restaurants to sell health insurance. Allow the free markets to work. [like we de-regulated investment banking]

4. We need "innovative" solutions, kind of like the innovative financial solutions we used to promote home ownership in America.

5. Allow people to use the equity in thier homes to obtain government backed loans for health care and then securitize and sell these loans back to state governments. Of course, this process will be 100% privatized through a few key wall-street banks.

6. Create tax-free savings plans called 901Ks for people to save for thier own health care expenses through self-managed investments in wall-street hedge funds. (this model has proven highly sucessful for financial advisors across the nation)

7. We will give grants to faith based health care organizations to pray for those with pre-existing conditions and have been refused health insurance. Bring back blood letting by the Catholic Church in America.

8. Bomb Iran and "invest" $1 trillion more of taxpayers money to "secure" world-wide oil & gas resources. Without cheap oil, health care costs will go through the roof in America and Muslims will invade Kansas forcing our kids to play cricket in school.

9. We need to tighten bankrupcty laws so deadbeat Americans cannot walk away from thier health care debt.

10. We should open government run Casino's across the country to create jobs and give something productive for those with chronic pre-existing conditions, no jobs, and no health insurance to do with their money before they die.
