Thanks for your insight, JK. Yes, I do have a diversified portfolio of properties, all of them here in Uruguay. Have been in the farmland business for 25 years now, so I hope I know the risks. Actually having an important drought now. As for AM, Beyond meats is on some supermarkets here. I shall soon test it myself.

one worry about farmland is the random risks of climate events- note the flooding in the midwest last year. if you're going to invest in farmland, you'd better have a diversified portfolio of properties to mitigate that kind of risk even under the best of circumstances for the industry as a whole.
