    BTU Peabody declares bankruptcy:

    New thread created as the existing coal thread was closed?

    BTU/Peabody was previously discussed at length and recommended here.

    Maybe it's a case of the 2nd owner(post bankruptcy/asset acquisition) that makes the profits as GRG55 has stated in the past.

    Maybe so, but I'll wait past the election to make any decisions given Hillary's vocal antagonism against coal.

    Have to admit, I was shocked to see BTU beaten into the sand. I knew it would go down, but I didn't expect it to go under.
