or possibly he left because he seemed to disagree with the central invstment theme of itulip ? i.e. gold.

He lives about an hour or less from me, but nevermet him in person. I toohope he is doing well.

He was banned due to his medical condition. I expect him to recover and put in an appearance.

my recollection was he had been getting a bit 'out there' and his daughter(?) had something to say, an intrafamilial discussion ensued and fred suspended him until he could settle down, is how think it went...

I wish I knew how he was doing too. Familial issues aside, I love my father. I wish he had the freedom to use or answer a phone.

It is our policy to temporarily ban a member, for protection of a member's reputation and to maintain an expected level of decorum, in such cases. Starving Steve's access was reinstated some time ago. We wish him well.
