cash flow positive or cash flow neutral businesses near the base of the hierarchy of needs: food, water, shelter - although that one's hosed for a while, transportation. I'm looking at something involving senior care - great demographic.

For what it’s worth, I've withdrawn a small amount of emergency cash to hold at home. Not that I think I will be a victim of a bank run, but things are getting crazy out there (economy, rolling black outs in California, floods in the Midwest, etc) and I always like to be prepared.
