    Default in the chicago burbs.

My wife volunteers at a childrens clothing resale event done as a fund raiser by a non-prof. They rent a large 5000 square foot building and parents can sell their clothes on consignment in a one day event. There is always tables and tables of stuff. She has been working this event for 8 years. It is always the same weekend and alway at the same place.

It is always popular, but this year, there was no space left in the lot to park, half an hour checkout times. It has never been this busy.

I'm nervous about my job, called my friend who is in the electrical contractor's business. Business stinks, no new apprenticeship program openings in several years. 1/2 the work force of electricians are doing a token "punching" the clock with no work. Something about keeping there credentials current by the token clock punching. The firm is large an used to employ around 200 electricians.
