As of January 2011, for how long I have no idea, I have become less active on iTulip. As of this writing (Jan 30, 2011) I have been more active on a site called projectavalon.net, though that too may change. My attention shifts ... All is well, life is good.
There seems to be a bug in the vBulletin forum software (currently at Version 4.0.3) that iTulip uses. Occasionally a new post to a thread gets the wrong time stamp, typically sometime years in the past, causing the post to be misplaced near the top of its thread as an old post. Often at about the same time, one gets an "invalid security token error" when trying to post, which can sometimes be cleared by refreshing the page and trying the post again. As Fiat Currency demonstrated to me and we discussed at some length on the thread Firefox + Greasemonkey script to view 'old school' iTulip, images attached to iTulip posts cannot be seen when using Internet Explorer 8. This seems to be a problem with the current vBulletin 4.0.3 forum software which iTulip uses. On Saturday, April 17, 2010, iTulip upgraded its forum software from some vBulletin 3.x version to the current vBulletin 4.0.x version. This means some new forum software features and a new look.
