At the end of December 2008, general government debt was £750.3 billion, equivalent to 52.0 per cent of GDP.

Yes, that I knew before hand ... note the text PROTOTYPE in the corner. I should have made it red, but did not get around to it.

Still that is only government numbers ... personal and commercial debt are still missing from the data.

I am busy, so someone will need to do more chart filling out (and source listing) to allow me to make the fixes.

Total cumulative debt calculations often require lots of searching for numbers.
