FYI
One of my equipment suppliers is located in Guastalla Italy:
email:
Sergio,
What does the economic situation look like over there right now?
What is the overall mood in that regard?

Hi Alan,
Here is generally slowing down: I feel the worst will be between April and September as there are still companies that are decreasing their activity right now.
Any way difficult to foresee so every body in any sector reduces or even deletes his plans!
Actually agriculture machinaries are better and the irrigation market as well. The reels manufacturers are let's say going to decrease the turnover from March but till now was fairly acceptable in general and let's say good for us and another 2 competitors.
It's always funny we don't learn on our mistakes....easy and quick incomes are probably too actractive and the governaments never try to really stop a huge waste of money: if they would, we could grow up step by step but safely!
In my previous mail I didn't say you that the USD/Euro exchange rate is a lot better now. I don't remember how much it was when you bought the machines last year but any way now is 1 Euro= 1,26 USD. About 23% better than last summer.
Best regards
Sergio
