For anyone unaware of it the Ludwig von Mises Institute holds one of the best repositories of forbidden economic media on the net, at

http://mises.org/media.aspx (http://mises.org/media.aspx)

Just click on the name of the speaker of interest

austrian economics is half useful... tends to attract demagogues. the mises site is too ideological for my taste.

Have to admit, though, Mises himself was a pretty good economist and political scientist

He never won a nobel (not even a tenured position at a US university, IIRC) but his popularizer, Hayek, got a lot of recognition.

agree. there's something about mises that brings out the pedantic in people... unlike hayek.

don't have have to be a hack economist/politician like krugman to win the nobel? ;)

if you like right wing ideologues, they're great. not to say i don't agree with 80% of it, but i refer my econ reality as unfiltered as possible.
