You know, if you look at British history (Blood splatered some what) your see that when we got control of our island & OUR MONEY we put in a Gold backed system.............then went off and built the biggest & most powerful Empire in History.
Then in the late 1920's/ eraly 30's a LEFTY Labour goverment came in and took Britian OFF the Gold standard!.....................It was down hill after that!
