Hi.

It seems that the best thing to do now if you have new money to invest, is buying short-term US debt, and sell it in January (http://www.itulip.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4955).

So my newbie question is: How do I buy short-term US debt?

Thank you in advance.

We recommend buying directly from the government via Treasury Direct (http://www.savingsbonds.gov/indiv/indiv.htm).

Gasull, can you please explain your reasoning for selling in January?

As an outsider I would think that the reason is selling before the US Power Change Oath ceremony...
