It's Jim Nickerson's birthday today. The iTulip crew wishes one of our most prolific posters and writers, our wise man of the iTulip.com Bar and Grille, best wishest on his 65th and many more to come!

Thanks iTulip.

More of us should take advantage to put up our birthdays and a bit more about who we are. Being new to posting anything on the internet, it has struck me as bit odd to be communicating with people about whom for the greater part I know nothing. So much is quoted in the news media under conditions of anonymity, thus to me lessening the credibilty, that it means either people should not be talking or lack the fortitude to be held responsible for what they may state--but that is just my perspective.

Well, if I am the "wise man" of the itulip.com Bar and Grille, I will assure you "we" are in deep doo-doo; however, fortunately I am not anywhere near close to being as truly wise as are some of those on these fora who are willing to take the time and thought to post. I truly appreciate those peoples' grasps of what is happening and their perspectives. Keep it up.

The 'net is certainly an odd nut, and finding relative oases of sanity where views on the relative doo-doo can be exchanged is very much a Good Thing(TM) in my book.

Here's something that a friend sent me recently - I'm a Leo too: :)
