Oil trending down while gold keeps going up

Oil is trending down while gold keeps going up. How long do you think it will take for gold to reverse? I am currently short oil because I believe that current oil prices are unsustainable. I also believe that gold will go down when oil plunges but so far it is going in the opposite direction. Time to short gold?

Oil demand is based on embracement of economic growth, whereas the current demand for oil owes to fear of economic recession! :eek:
