I say the same thing to everyone I know. I have a FB account, and never use the thing other than to 'follow' some animal rescue groups or some bands or such. NEVER post a damn thing up there ever.

You should also make sure all you cookies get deleted - use ccleaner it's free. You can set it to wipe cookies on boot and keep those you want to remember login names etc.

Its not the goverment i fear on this......its the press!
Say you got caught up in something & the Police were quite happy you where not involed......however the press are looking for a story & BOY you have an inter-ting back ground!

I have a pay as you go cheap moible.....the second i get caught up in ANY crap it gets smashed & thrown in the bin.

Hopefully we never know, but if you been following the hacking investagation in the UK you see News international hacked EVERYONE that they came across. Now lets say i did something "Nice", stopped something bad from happening or there was Bomb blast & i used my 1st aid skills to help the people........then when there is some sort of hearing i say that i thought it was a FALSE-FLAG OPERATION.

In the public spot light & certain people want to shut me down........they find my cell phone number......hack the messages & suss that i had meeting with a married women...............next day headlines :- Mega, the Love RAT!"

Give them nothing to use!
