    Only a 20% chance this will go though, "They" are in full panic mode, the Tax take has collasped & they out of money. Rummors are that on top of EVERYTHING else the BOE is trying to hide a £40 billion black hole thats just appeared.

    This also tells me that "They" intend to soak the little people, thus a few BIG names MUST be BURNT alive via a Witch hunt!

    I'm not getting this. So the super rich are required to disclose how much money they have stashed in the caymans. The suggestion is that they are hiding money from the tax man. The deal with a tax heaven is that you don't have to pay any tax. Reporting or not is not the issue. If you keep your money in the caymans, it is tax free.

    What am I missing here?

      As i understand it, they keep your name out of it.........so if a Company runs though one of these places you can "Hide" the fact that YOU own the company & you owe taxes!
