Did anybody notice the sharp move up in gold and silver lease rates in recent weeks? Something is up. In simple terms, the lease rates imply the probability of future metal availability. I am especially intrigued by 1 year lease rate movement...

Yes I noticed them starting to move sharply also.

I'm going to post an article from Financial sense about tbe prospects for gold and silver on the News page which may give a hint of the direct connection governing unwind in derivatives and how they will ultimately correlate to the gold silver price (and lease rates).
